Communities

hand-shaking_guys_doubleexposure.pngOVERVIEW

The composition of the current workforce is made up of baby boomers, generation X, millennials, and generation Z and can be considered to be one of the most diversified in history. As a result, the shift in comfort and familiarity with technology has enabled organizations to deliver content in ways more in keeping with the technology savvy workforce.

PMIC has embraced this change and is providing the marketplace with on-line communities designed to foster communications within the marketplace and a means by which we can disseminate professional development information and opportunities.

Our communities are:

  • Monitored by subject matter experts
  • Developed to foster positive exchanges of information
  • Broad based or topic-specific, depending upon the community

We offer a mixture of closed and open communities to foster industry networking and information exchange. Closed communities are restricted to individuals registered for an event or a specific program, while open communities are free and available to those interested in the topic.

Please note though, while access is free, it is a privilege and not a right. Abuse of the community’s standards can result in a denial of access.
